Home to the Yolngu people, Galiwinku on Elcho Island is the Northern Territory’s second largest Aboriginal community. In August, we celebrated the official opening of a new, state-of-the-art Remote Service Centre. The Service Centre is kitted out with updated technology, and will make it much easier for the local community to access the department’s services. We are currently volunteering in Galiwin’ku (Elcho Island) North East Arnhem Land, Northern Territory & we pay our respects to the Traditional Owners past and present.
